District 39 is thrilled to announce that all four of its elementary schools (Central, Harper, McKenzie, and Romona) have been recognized as Apple Distinguished Schools for 2023-26. Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Highcrest Middle School and Wilmette Junior High School earning the recognition last year, meaning all six District 39 schools are now Apple Distinguished Schools.

I am writing to share some important administrative news with you. Earlier this week, Assistant Principal Katherine Michau resigned her position to take a job closer to her home and family. I am thrilled to announce Meghan Otto as the next Assistant Principal at Central Elementary!

Registration will open on Monday, January 23 for the 2023-24 academic year.

District 39 has been awarded a grant from the Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation as part of its K-12 Solar Schools program, which fosters the teaching of science, math, technology, and the environment through the use of solar panels to create energy.

Registration is now open for the 2022-23 academic year. Families with returning students should visit the PowerSchool parent portal, click on the registration link and follow the corresponding instructions.
